Part 1 - Design the outer cover = front, spine, and back.

Part 2 - Design the inner parts = Title page, Table of Contents, Chapter page(s), and Publisher page.

Finally all the pieces were printed and put together into a 3-D model, I'll post the pictures on the page link marked Assignment 5 - Part 2.

We were asked to use our logos from the previous assignment to make a business package. Here are my finalized three business packages using the Reaper Press, Ninja Comics, and Hatters Publishing company logos.

Disaster has struck!

Okay, technically its not a disaster except for me it kind of is... my screen cracked AGAIN! I was working on homework and left my laptop open but I walked by and grabbed it without checking the keyboard until I opened it in the room and someone's DAMNED PENCIL was on my keyboard!

Now I have to rely on my HDMI cord and TV to help me finish the TOC and front/back/spine book designs. I finished making all the textured stuff its just trying to put them all together on InDesign that's proving  a challenge at the moment.

I finally finished assignment 2!!! Hurray! This means I can go to sleep now and not have to panic about anything until tomorrow afternoon.

Round 2... Fight!... You Win???

Hi everyone! Seems we are all back again for another grueling round of improving our skills as graphic designers. Farewell to our senpais who graduated from the program and left to start their journey in the real world or another school aiming for the BA.

Hopefully we get along again this semester and be completely honest >.> with each other during our critiques. Its not likely to happen for all of us 'cause hearing the truth really hurts (I know I've beaten myself up mentally several times for not noticing my mistakes.)

One last thing I forgot to mention... I'm going to be posting random online sketches in the (rarely used) sketch book blog I made last semester. So check it out in the tabs above when I (finally stop being lazy and) add the link!

Well enjoy the B2S frenzy well it lasts.

And just maybe, maybe the head honchos finally approved software updates in the lab for CS6!!! Its very unlikely but a person can hope and dream right?
